Companion Policy
COMPANION POLICY
- If your physician prohibits the use of a companion for the health of your patient, please take care to comply with this. Our visiting hours are between 07:00-22:00.
- For the health of our patients, only one companion is accepted.
- People with fever, runny nose, cough, diarrhea, vomiting and infectious dermatitis are not accepted as companions.
- Do not touch patient care materials.
- Pay attention to patient and employee privacy during your accompaniment.
- Be careful not to engage in behaviors such as crying or shouting in the presence of our patients (as it may disfavor them) that reflect your emotional state.
- To protect the health of our patients, please do not bring or accept food and beverages from outside.
- Flowers are not accepted in patient rooms due to the risk of infection. Flowers on behalf of the patient will be delivered to the patient on discharge with a pre-delivered flower card.
- Please do not use cell phones in areas with medical equipment.
- Do not speak loudly.
- Pets are not allowed in our institution, please do not bring them.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in our organization, except in designated areas.
- In the case of a special patient, the companion practice is carried out in accordance with the physician’s approval
- Who should not be a companion!
Children under 18 years of age,
Those with complaints such as fever, cough, sneezing and expectoration and those with a known active infectious disease.
- Who or whom is informed about the patient’s health;
If the patient is an adult and conscious;
He/she or his/her first-degree relative will be informed
If the patient is a child;
The parent is informed.
No information about the patient is given to third parties.
