Istanbul Art Show

Doku Clinic became the main sponsor of the Istanbul Art Show Fair, which was organized for the second time in 2019 and aims to make art accessible to everyone and to reach people from all walks of life. The clinic’s own art collection was also among the exhibitions that was popular at the fair.

Professional artsist in painting, sculpture, ceramics, graphics, photography, digital art, artistic publications, national and international art galleries, contemporary art museums, collectors, institutions and organizations related to art education and publishing houses, came together in Istanbul Art Show, a new window to the contemporary art world. An exhibition consisting of 30 selected works from the art collection of Doku Clinic, the main sponsor of the fair, with the theme “Truth Suspends: Art in the Age of Post-Truth”, was presented to lovers of art.

19 Aralık’ta gerçekleşen gala gecesinde konuşma yapan Doku Clinic Kurucusu Dr. Serkan Aygın, İstanbul Art Show’da yer almaktan mutluluk duyduklarını belirtti. İstanbul Art Show’un Sanat Direktörü Yalın Alpay ise “Doku Clinic’in 300 parçayı aşan dev koleksiyonundan İstanbul Art Show Sanat Direktörü olarak benim ve İstanbul Art Show Seçici Kurulu’nun seçtiği 30 parçalık çok güçlü bir sergi var. Bu sergi Türkiye’nin, Kıta Avrupası’nın ve Büyük Britanya’nın önde gelen sanatçılarının enstalasyon, tablo, heykel ve rölyeflerinden meydana geliyor. Doku Clinic Koleksiyonu, kurumun kurucu ortakları Serkan ve Melda Aygın’a ait. Aygın çifti bu dev koleksiyon için ciddi zaman, bütçe ve emek harcamışlar. Böylesine güçlü yapıtların İstanbul Art Show’da sergilenecek olması, İstanbullu sanatseverler için de büyük bir kazanç olacak” dedi.
